My passion for cakes starts with making some cupcakes for a friend with a pack of pre-mix cake. During the baking process, something change in my heart as the joy of creating sweet treat sparkles in my heart and make the day better. As I had graduated from university and start working as an Accountant, I had never stopped baking in my spare time. Every recipe is a challenge for me while putting some of my own ideas into the recipes and received compliments from friends and family, the idea of making the passion from hobby to profession had grown stronger and stronger every day.
In 2015, I made a decision and flew to Paris, the capital of patisserie to study French pastry and make it into a profession. After five months at Ferrandi Paris, I had completed my six months internship at Mandarin Oriental Paris which had been one of the best experiences in my life. While I felt that there are still many things to learn about patisserie. I decided to take another two years of working holiday in the UK and working as a Pastry Chef. During my time in the UK, I had worked at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Sketch London. In 2018, I came back to Sydney and found Cardinet Patisserie which is inspired by my Rue Cardinet where I lived while following my passion and study patisserie in Paris.
